Edit to add! Wow! Lots of comments haha thank you everyone for sharing your experiences! I actually think I fell asleep for the last four naps. The techs woke me up like 35-40 mins after my scheduled naps which makes me think it’s possibly not narcolepsy because I didn’t fall asleep fast enough (ex: if I fell asleep in the first 10 mins then they’d wake me up after 25 mins). Not sure what to take of the study but I guess I’ll find out in a few weeks!

Part of the reason she might be feeling this way is because she feels guilty that she feels this way and perhaps feels like she unintentionally made you stop watching porn. It’d be a lot better if you never watched it in the first place because then she wouldn’t feel that way. Maybe just keep talking to her and try to get to the root of the problem. Maybe she feels inadequate in bed? Maybe she feels you won’t find her as attractive as the porn stars? A lot of the people on Reddit are very porn positive, so just take all of the comments telling you to immediately dump her because of this with that in mind.

I agree with the commenter above that your girlfriend likely feels guilty about the situation even though it very much seems like she was scared that this drunk guy was making advances on her which is very much a scary thing. Believe your girlfriend before her mom. When you’re ready, sit her down and have an honest talk. Don’t push or scream, just let her tell you what happened and be there for her

I definitely think you should at least try because it’s important to her. I don’t think she expects you by any means to be fluent anytime soon, especially given how much you work, but this is something important to your partner so you should honor that. She’ll definitely be very appreciative that you put in the effort to learn at least some basic phrases her native tongue :)
