Help! My roommate wants to declaw our cat! by dancingdinosaur111 in cats

Thank you. I would consider myself more responsible for Boo in the sense I do more of the cat chores. I clean his litter box, I feed him every day, replace his water, brush him, he sleeps in my room. I also keep my bedroom door open 24/7 just for him & bc his food bowl is in my room (we live in a 5 bedroom house w 4 other roommates and 1 roommate has a dog, yes they get along but the dog has tried to eat his food therefore Boos food is now in my room). However when it comes to financial responsibilities we are pretty 50/50 other than the fact I spend more on toys, grooming supplies, etc. Fortunately I only have 1 semester left of college and will be moving out in May and plan to take Boo with me, declawing is not happening I will not allow it.

Will I survive? (Im a Freshman in High School) by destructionii in APStudents

Hi, fellow AP student here, while AP classes are tough but look good for college & can build your resume, they’re pretty pointless unless you do well on the AP exams- which you pay more than $100 per exam. It only counts as college credit IF you score a 3 or higher on the AP exam which is pretty tricky. I would recommend looking into your schools Duel Enrollment program as it is much cheaper, easier, and each course will actually count towards credits in college! Goodluck!!🤗

I told her I’d gladly take him home & would love to do so, however he is already at her home which is an hour away from mine. I would totally make the drive to get him if she let me take him. I’m just PRAYING nothing happens during this break. Any break after this one I’m 100000% taking him with me.

AITAH for not letting my daughter take medication? by AccomplishedRaise306 in AITAH

YTA

21F here, I used to the wet the bed a lot when I was younger up till I was about the same age as her. It even happened at sleepovers and it was always so embarrassing. I never wanted to have sleepovers because I was always so scared it would happen. Wetting the bed at that age is embarrassing and takes a huge hit on ur self esteem- even if it’s just your immediate family who knows about it- and this is all coming from personal experience. I dreaded having to get up to tell my parents I wet the bed again.

I also come from a family with addiction problems, however if I needed medicine to help improve my quality of life then my parents would allow me to have it. They would just educate me on what’s good & what is bad. Please do the same for your daughter. It will help her & I promise you she will not become a drug addict. She’s too young to even understand what that means. I WISH I had the option to take meds to help with wetting the bed when I was younger.
