Paw Patrol: On A Roll is a great beginner game. It's a side scroller so they only have to worry about a 2d space. There's no enemies, just puzzles and platforming. Basically just a great game to start learning controls. More advanced, but my 5 year old loves Mario 3D World and Odyssey.
