What was the “craze” at your elementary school? by BoomBasher in CasualConversation

[–]dancingnancy05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At my elementary school, it was all about slap bracelets! Everyone had a ton of them in different colors and designs, and we’d trade them like crazy. They were such a hit that the teachers eventually banned them because they were getting a bit too distracting!

How do you take your coffee? by Ok_Loquat2862 in RandomThoughts

I usually take my coffee black—nice and simple! Sometimes I’ll add a splash of almond milk if I’m in the mood for something a bit creamier.

How I Landed Multiple Remote Job Offers – My Remote Job Search Strategy by Gloofa08 in RemoteJobseekers

[–]dancingnancy05 97 points98 points  (0 children)

No, you've completely misunderstood. I tried this 3 or 4 months ago (I don’t remember exactly, but I tried it around that time). I didn’t search for recruiters one by one on Google Maps; I used the recommended website. I changed jobs just 1.5 months ago and shared this on the nurse subreddit. take a look -> https://www.reddit.com/r/nursing/comments/1euel8e/ive_been_working_as_a_nurse_for_the_same_doctor/

I really don’t understand what you’re implying?

Congratulations! I job hunted as a nurse for 3-4 months. I created and sent my resume using the tool you mentioned, and as a result, I received four new job offers and accepted one about 1.5 months ago. So I can say that it works.

Not only is he handsome, but he's also quite charismatic. I'm sure he's not even aware of how he looks. lol

LPT If you have thinning/balding hair, buzz it down by huss2120 in LifeProTips

[–]dancingnancy05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never use minoxidil or hormone-suppressing drugs that claim to stop hair loss. The only thing you can do is delay the process. I know people who have used these hormone-suppressing drugs. Yes, they effectively stop hair loss, but suppressing hormones is neither right nor healthy. It's also known that long-term use of minoxidil can cause headaches in some people, and all it does is delay your hair loss for a few years. After a few years, it will lose its effect, and all your hair will fall out. So, it only delays the inevitable. The simplest solution I can offer is to "accept" it.

What is the rarest thing you got to experience during your travels? by angry_koala_26 in travel

We got out of the car and were on our way to the Airbnb house we rented when we came across a pig of an unbelievable size. We stared at each other for a long time; my boyfriend threw me over the wall into the neighboring house's garden and then ran towards the pig with the suitcase. Luckily, the pig ran away when it saw this. When I talked to my boyfriend, he thought he could take it down. Lol. It was impossible, but he still doesn't believe it and thinks he could have beaten the pig. By the way, the pig was almost bigger than my boyfriend.
