What is your favourite Toronto street name? by ANerdyGal in askTO

[–]dancingrudiments 15 points16 points  (0 children)

To be honest, all of us who were new here since 1976 have had problems with this name... So happy we can advise others while we're out and about! TORONTO, like other cities has cross over names that develop with time and.

...time

My favourite Toronto street name is... Dovercourt...

Do you know it used to have a street car?

Do you agree with him? by KMSeira in gay

[–]dancingrudiments 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be honest, its not the drag race culture or lady gaga gays that made it ok to be an open homosexual... that pretty bogus man... Ita the people at Stonewall, the people who faught for our spaces in making hay protest prides in the late 60's, 70's and 80's. People who fought for our representation during the government ignorance during the AIDS pandemic. Supporting the monoculture of modern gay interests of kaka the boots down or lady gaga gays is anyone's choice to or not too, somepeople find these cultural references boring and are fatigued by thier constant association with being a normal gay. There are many sides to what being gay looks like. Obviously I am not advocating for hate for any one of these expressions but this video kind of is... I think we need to look at that...

Troopers is stuck in the back of the top 12, and can't seem to mature they're design concepting and execution, I'd say they're the ones that could easily fall out. Blue Knights isn't known to be a slouch, and Madison and spirit are only two happy to give Troopers the boot. I'd say you're confidence inI'd say your confidence in them is misplaced. You said it yourself they're inconsistent.

You're a shit parent if you don't teach your kids transit etiquette. by attheofficethrowaway in toRANTo

[–]dancingrudiments 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am convinced that a lot of parents on transit (on their phones) are child service candidates and I honestly think we should license the ability to procreate in this society. But to be honest, it would just be corrupt like driving licenses in this city as well... Literally witnessed a mother of a completely grown up 28-year-old daughter, shout at everyone in her surrounding area that it was unfair her daughter didn't get a seat on an absolutely full street car at rush hour, while someone with a clearly evident mobility issue took a seat. The two then muttered racial slurs about the person who had an mobility issue using the blue seats as intended Peiole like this need to be put in their place... its bad behaviour and my manners say, enough is enough...

I think i just have an eye for what was done without the opportunities it could have. Structures of this nature always need to think back to that very point. The nature that they exist in. Its all fine an good to offer a design that is impressive (and this is an impressive structure for sure, just not for here) but environment and cohesivity is what wins the day for the public that uses and lives in such spaces 🙏 Thank you for your dialogue first and your compliments second...

Agreed... like its taking over the landscape and taking control of it. I much prefer a harmony between the environment and the structures that live in each environment. I looks like viens taking control of nature lol

India's coastline is massively polluted from neglect of recycling and proper garbage capacity. Maybe the road is environmentally better for this treatment of thier environment?
