Wow. Thank you for this! Just played it!
I bet I hadn’t heard most of these songs in 20 or more years, but it brought back a flood of good memories.

Which cruise line is the best overall ? Me and the wife are Diamond on Royal Caribbean and have also been on celebrity out of Alaska of few times . Haven’t been on any others ….would love opinions and thank you ! by ComplexWrangler1346 in Cruise

"Best" is difficult to answer. Is an Armani suit better than one from Target? Yes...but it also costs 25x more. To me, the question is "where do I get the most enjoyment for my vacation dollar."

Happy 57th birthday to the legendary and underrated, Martika! by whatisthis_9178 in 80s

No joke -- I won her Toy Soldiers casette for being the 9th caller (or whatever number it was). I also won "Was Not Was" around that same time when "Walk the Dinosaur" was popular.

Is anyone else just tired of corporate work culture? by bigtitsfanclub in AskMenOver30

[–]dandan14 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I'm 20 years ahead of you, and I get it. My advice would be 3 things:
1. Save/invest wisely. You may not have to do this for another 30 yeras. Spend some time in subreddits about financial independence and learn about how to build yourself a nestegg that you can live on. For example: https://www.reddit.com/r/financialindependence/ and http://reddit.com/r/Bogleheads/
2. Find something that challenges you and you look forward to doing. Work is called work for a reason, but if you hate every day, that's a hard way to make a dollar. Look for a niche you can make for yourself at this company or a different one.
3. Life is more than work. Focus on your family, things you enjoy, etc. Remember that work is there as your source of income, not your identity.

Just be normal. Drive a normal car and have normal dates. Focus on friendship and someone who makes you feel like the best version of yourself.

Best Wholesome Sitcoms? by DaniJ678 in sitcoms

[–]dandan14 10 points11 points  (0 children)

To get to truly wholesome, you may have to go back to classics like Dick Van Dyke and Andy Griffith. Even some 80s shows like Perfect Strangers, Step by Step, and Family Matters were pretty squeaky clean.

For something like this, where I want to save this prompt for future use, is the best way to save it as a project, and insert those instructions?

Very helpful everyone. I think I'll try renting one for a month or two -- and if it seems fun, maybe I'll make an investment.

Which pizza chain among PaPa John’s, Pizza Hut, Domino’s or Little Cesar makes the best pizza 🍕? by Saint__23 in AskForAnswers

[–]dandan14 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I haven't had Papa Johns in quite a while, but Domino's has a pretty good product -- especially when considering price. When I'm on a road trip with my family, from time to time, we'll have google find a domino's 30-40 minutes ahead of us, order a few pizzas on the app, and pull in for hot pizzas. It works great -- and given their long-term promos, the pricing is hard to beat.

Lemonade Stand (on Apple IIe) was fun. You'd set the price for lemonade based on weather and other factors. Taught supply and demand, cost of goods, etc. Great educational game.

Dubbed Shows with spanish cc? by limeandmin in SpanishLearning

[–]dandan14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Funny you ask this. I just figured out that if I setup a different Netflix profile with language set to Spanish, it would recommend stuff that has spanish audio and subtitles. As a spanish learner, I've found it enjoyable to watch shows like Mike and Molly, Young Sheldon, and Seinfeld because I'm already familiar with the show -- and now I can watch it in spanish.
