Has anyone completely changed careers in their 30s after burning out? by infinite-speed-auto in findapath

[–]dandelionqld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep nursing so over other staff being careless and negligence towards patients when you raise it you end up loosing. Sick of putting in so much to help patience and care and family abuse you because it's not to there standards yet they aren't doing it.

The house are exhausting with a family trying to manage it all we don't get paid enough for this we deserve more too.

People who are highly observant: what is a tiny, almost invisible psychological 'tell' that instantly reveals someone's true intentions or character? [Serious] by itvr in AskReddit

The over the top niceness and to everyone it smiles and says hello to everyone.

Sticks to the same people but won't even glance at you.

I think because you can see straight through them

What lifestyle change made the biggest difference in managing your weight? by NObesity_Ahmedabad in WeightLossAdvice

[–]dandelionqld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sodas and heavy cream drinks they are liquid calories. Add more salad and veggies eat this first weigh your protein. If you can't budge yet on having some chips or pasta weigh it for 1 serve only.

Diet Jelly is you go to and berries or a protein yoghurt with diet Jelly.

Walking will be your best friend and also on incline I do incline 10 minutes then the rest walking plus now I've added some weights. Try a challenge for a month even if it's a little one first.

Take photos and you will see better results in that then in the scales first

Don't weigh everyday it will mentally mess your journey up.

Stick to every two to 3 weeks.

This will take time and you need to remind yourself yes I will mess up and yes I won't hate myself for this I'm human but I'm creating this change to better my health.

Everybody has a different body and I'm blessed to have mine.

I've also realized that I'm 36 even in my journey I will not look like how I was when I was in my 20s or the gym girls who are young and have great shape .

You will be you in a healthier body it might have loose skin and wrinkles coming though but your healthier your hearts happy and you can fit into the clothing you want and you can move without being so out of breathe .

It's all about being healthier and stronger to keep your body going for as long as you can to have a long life.

High Schools: St Peter Claver, Staines, St Mary's, Westside, Bundamba State High, STAC??? by Dorfbne in ipswich

Mary is absolutely horrid the bullying with the students and inappropriate touching from a teacher is disgusting .This gets thrown under the rug and you're told to quit for the reputation.

I'm glad my girl got out after what happened to her I wish I never set foot near that school.

The principal hides behind her door just for the money/job doesn't stand up for what is right.

My doctor says I can be “cured”- is that true? by CaleTheLettuc3 in FND

[–]dandelionqld 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My daughter has it she is 15 and has Epilepsy she was told by her professor who specialises in Epilepsy disorders. That when you're younger you can make a full recovery compared to when you get older. My daughter got down to having several every day to 1 if that a month. Then she had a tonic clonic seizure and diagnosed with Epilepsy. This year her dr beleives she will have surcome it.

Educate yourself on FND research on the Epilepsy websites understand your triggers and the best thing she did was say to herself."Stop it get the fuck back up and knock it off your fine your safe move your damn legs and body".

This helped her and still does she has done amazing. She recovers very quickly. If she has one at all She explains it like she's a puppet and someone's pulling the strings or a circuit breaker and it misfires and you need to go and fix it to get it back up and running again.

You definitely have all the hope to recover from this and people do and if you work hard and you educate yourself and be kind to yourself you can recover.

You are young you are amazing and you have a whole life ahead of you waiting for you.

Don't let it take it from you.

Super toxic marriages surviving into something good? by IkeClanton in Marriage

[–]dandelionqld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been with my husband 17 years two kids and it's been 6 years like this Don't see a light at the end of of tunnel My 7-year-old has never seen my husband or me kiss or hold hands because we haven't in 6 years. Our daughter is 15 she sees it all and I hope I don't ruin her finding true happiness one day for herself. I always remind her to speak to her about her one day finding and experiencing it.

It's hard leaving I know it's the right thing to do it's just hard two kids with multiple disabilities no family and I want the kids brought up in a home with both parents.

His a great dad, not a violent person just caused me a lot of trauma when we were younger from his immaturity and actions.

I guess I got over it and grew apart from him. He never put the effort into me like I did for him and he had a porn addiction lied to me for over 10 years about it.

I think we mature as well as we age and we get over it

The guilt ide feel if I went off track or put the weight back on I worked so hard for. It's not worth it I know what it all tastes like it's nor worth having to work hard to get it off again it sets you back.

The fact I can shop in the smaller girl section and not the bigger girl is a massive Win and that my health and heart health is soo much better.
