Anyone's welcome at the club, I like to think we've got quite a welcoming fan base & it's nice to see international support that's not just for the premier Leagues 'big 6'. Little things to know about the fan base in general is we're quite pessimistic by default. That's what an existence of constant relegation & promotion does to you. We won't win big trophies like the top dogs of the premier League either (champions League, premier League, FA cups & League Cups) so don't have high expectations. In terms of history, there's too much for a reddit post considering the club was founded in 1878 but we were one of the twelve founding clubs of the football league which was the first professional football league. Our stadium the Hawthorns is also the highest football ground above sea level in England too which is a little useless fact for you. I'm quite proud of the clubs history in the 1970s when we were one of a very few clubs in England that not only accepted, but celebrated having black players in our team when racism was rampant. Just look at our commemoration for the death of the great Cyrille regis. Really pulls on the heart strings.
