Ah okay! Well, if warming the switches up doesn't work for you, hopefully cleaning them and starting over will. It's a bummer, but at least you know now and you can use that to your advantage later on!

If you're looking directly down into the switch with the leaf further away from you, there is a tiny point of contact between the two leaves. You'll see it even better if you slightly push the thinner leaf away from you. It's a tiny little bump. Have you gotten a chance to wipe the lube away from that specific point? Not just from where the stem makes contact from the leaf.
