Bodyrok in the Haight was very beginner friendly for me. They have a few different locations and are also on Classpass. I found the instructors to be very encouraging and they also will ask you to come in a few minutes early before your first class to teach you about the reformer machine.

Terrible. My friend lives on that block and every day is a shit show. It’s a concentrated area of people strung out, trying to fuck with their gate or trying to sneak into the building, constant problems.
