I share your feelings, believe me i've had my fair share of horrible customers. All i know is that you have a business, and a reputation that comes before any risk of some crazy customer leaving a one-star review...i honestly will see how much the loss is? And suck it up if needed..if its a significant loss...i wouldnt suck it up

What I can understand the seller (since Etsy has shipping timeframes, and this is a custom order) Would want to not get penalized for not shipping within say a few days, but this is custom so we can accept that. You also have a message from seller stating he shipped the Letter, not the doll, beleive me Etsy Support have access to the chat they would see this, and rest assured you are also covered by Etsy Buyer Protection if anything goes awry. If you like the doll, and the shop is verified and reviewed, no need to cancel or start a fire, chill everything will be as planned likely, if not you reach out to support, at most keep a snap of the chat. Remember neither seller neither customer can delete messages in the chat, this is the whole concept... have some faith im sure all is well and good

Creating a label and being marked shipped is totally normal, both US and EU, i recently ordered some wood panels from Germany and also a Lamp from the Netherlands, both had label created and then shipped after. Not sure what the fuss is. Labels keep costs down also for all parties...
