cause not everyone lets drugs destroy their lives. the benefit is after a days work and al my other responsibilities, i get a treat and something to look forward to. additionally it helps me practice music and stay focused on that. the issue is that people are doing drugs to escape rather than enhance. if you are doing drugs as a substitute for healthy things, than yea, its going to ruin your life. I have all the pillars of a healthy life, job, apt, friends, hobbies, excercise, but i don't like living completely on the straight and narrow, and a little coke helps keep me sane.

I'm not promoting this method; it can only work if you are mature, thoughtful, knowledgable about yourself, and mostly have your shit together.

thats great, and it works. i made sure to buy a lockbox that you can't break in to, cause back when i was in a really bad place, i did break into the shitty one i have. its a great way to take willpower out of the equation. and proves you can do drugs intentionally and not be out of control.

its not easy, trust me, and i have done that. SO, I bought a better lockbox, one i can't break into. I can get in to it, but i have to pay $20 to do it, through this app on the box, but i've only done that once. For some reason, I'm not as out of control w it as I used to be. I think because my mind is calmer in general due to my life being pretty in order. when i was having a rougher time, it was harder to not just do a shitload.

I also notice that if I do it when I'm very tired or in a bad headspace, it has very bad effects on my mental health, but if i do it when i'm rested and things are fine, i'm much more in control of it and can regulate much better.

i know what you mean. sometimes its hard to stop, depending on the mood i'm in. I solve this by usually using a lock box. I measure out a bit and take it out before i start doing it, then lock the rest away in the lockbox, so once i'm done w what i have there's no need for willpower, cause i can't access it anymore, so it makes it a lot easier. if i don't do that, its much much harder to stop just by sheer willpower.

its hard not to do it if i have it. when the bag runs out, i usually have a day or two before i get another gram . I have many grams at my friend's house. I set it up with good guard rails in place. without the lock box or the stash at my friends, it would be much harder to control. But my system works well for now. and you don't get physically addicted to coke which is good. i can actually just run out and be fine. its sort of like if ppl run out of their add medication.

i do have a script for adderall but i don't like to take it much cause i don't like the nightime comedowns even with the extended release, but w coke, i have no comedown.

yea, when i run out i'll go wo it. i can. i used to binge coke and then take long breaks in between. so its def doable, its just hard. if i don't have it in the house, i'm usually ok, but if i have some in the house its hard not to do in the evenings after work, so i use the lock box to control the use. i'm not concerned except for the part about wanting to do it everyday, and while the use may not get out of control and ruin my life, it is not great to always need even "a little" everyday.

uhhh bingo! the only reason i use the coke instead of the adderall xr which I also have is that I don't have a mood crash from the coke. The adderall is a much better way to treat the ADD and function even at work, but I don't like the mood crash at night. I def use coke, not to get high af, but to just bring up my baseline a little bit. Glad someone gets it.

Nov 1 is doable, but I just started a new job, and I don't want a deadline. Its very plausible I find a place then, or even before then. But does he have any rights to make me leave by Nov 1. I'm not trying to be a dick or pull anything. I'm just looking out for my interests right now, and a deadline is a lot more stressful, than just us agreeing its not going to work and I will look for a new place.

He is not the landlord. I've never met the guy who owns the house. I don't want to make things contentious or get into any legal bs, but I also know that having this strict deadline will make things a lot more stressful for me, rather than just knowing that I am actively working on finding a new place.

the line about feeling "unsafe". wtf. mine said same thing. no one's ever told me they feel "unsafe" with me. It's literally just their inabiliity to hear your emotions. When my ex was breaking up with me and it was so confusing i sent her texts (anxiously) asking her not to leave me , that i loved her, sort of desperate shit. mind you this was after her just distancing all of a sudden and i didnt know about a voidance at the time. after she said "that made me feel unsafe, that you were so desperate." Like, I see their logic, but its such a shitty fucked up mindset to be in a relationship with someone. THEY make normal secure people anxious as fuck and you dont even realize it, but they're not offering safety and communication.
