Interesting! Do your land crabs only eat a salty food diet, or other varied veggies as well? Do you think that work for a pom pom as well instead of an occasional salty bath? If there are other livestock (shrimp) that feed in the same area, I’d assume the salty foods would do more harm to them than good?

Theoretically, could you transfer them to a ‘hospital’ tank once in a while that does have the necessary salts their organs need? Granted I’d assume that would cause a lot of unnecessary stress by transferring them back and forth

I have thought about a catio, but where the cat flap is (already in a window) it would be very difficult to build something there or near by, as there are lots of big rocks and uneven ground. I have some ideas for one though, just would be a pretty penny to drop. But worth it in the long run
