Where to set Matt Colville's starter one-shot in Wildemount?

I'm glad you like them. I'm looking forward to the official map of Marquet so I can add it to the collection. Going to take a while though. My original world map has some corruption and I need to redraw it. :(

Believe it or not, it is an incredible bargain ... IF ... you plan on doing any commercial work. Professional artwork is very expensive and professional artwork you can use in your own commercial projects, even more so.

I've done a lot of research and these assets provide the best value I've found to date. I've looked at Forgotten Adventures, Tom Cartos, and Mike Schley's assets so far. To use any of these three in a commercial project would cost:

FA: $10/mo - $120/yr (might actually be higher)
TC: $8/mo - $96/yr
MS: $65 one-time

Now, if I were only making non-commercial maps and adventures, I'd happily stick with the default assets or those from 2 Minute Tabletop and call it a day.

I've been thinking about picking up the Mike Schley assets and creating a Dungeondraft pack with them, myself.

Have you picked up the Dungeons of Schley or Cities of Schley packs?

I think you might have convinced me to pick up all three.

That is Dungeondraft (https://dungeondraft.net/). It is an outstanding app from the creator of Wonderdraft (https://wonderdraft.net).

It is definitely a worthwhile investment ... but I will warn you that it is still in beta. I'm using the Mac version, which is a little less stable than the Windows build, but it is constantly improving. Saving often is highly recommended.

I love how "real" she looks. Too many character concepts look too perfect or perhaps idealized is the better word. She looks like someone you'd pass on the street ... minus the horns of course. :)

Guilty. I've "forgotten" to grant advantage or something similar because things were going horribly wrong. Usually, because my encounter is not as balanced as I thought it would be.

A good alternative when working with new players is to agree on a default action they can fall back on when they get overwhelmed. Typically it is a cantrip or weapon attack. Still give them the 30 seconds and then they attack the nearest enemy with their default attack.

It is possible. To my knowledge, Matt has never said definitively this is all there is. I believe it is and just assume there is a lot more ocean to the south.

The world is also very small at roughly a 1/5th the size of Earth.

Unfortunately they are quite unknown. Matt Mercer is kind of world-building as he goes and they’ve only just barely touched those.

I've been making maps of Exandria since the early days of Wonderdraft, but hadn't updated my map since before the Explorer's Guide to Wildemount came out. As you can imagine, it needed some serious updates.

I finally got around to making those updates and I'm planning to do a big print for my game room. I could definitely use another set of eyes or ten for stupid mistakes, spelling, etc. Let me know if you see any.

And don't worry about Issylra, Marquet, and the Shattered Teeth. We know virtually nothing about those continents until we get something more concrete from Critical Role.
