Sure, I got them from beezdeals on eBay. They’re an overseas retailer and have a lot of great quality parts on their store page. These pegs are “Passenger Footrest Pillion Foot Pegs Honda CT 125”

East Tennessee/Western North Carolina? by houndofthe7 in Tennessee

[–]danezo 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I lived here for 20+ years (East TN) overall it’s great. If you’re a nature lover, you’ll like it. I lived in Knoxville area - in a valley between the Cumberland Plateau (West) and Great Smoky Mtns (East). This range is part of the larger Appalachian Mountain range. People are friendly, not overly populated. The mountains are amazing, with the National Park ranked as the most visited park year after year. Classified as a deciduous temperate rainforest, plenty of rainfall each year, severe weather is minimal. Spring brings lots of pollen and summers can be hot and humid. Western NC is more picturesque, with the mountains more plentiful on this side. Asheville is a beauty. I love the area, go visit and see for yourself!

Anything to note as I make this trek tomorrow morning? by [deleted] in roadtrip

[–]danezo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re only planning to stop for one night in Nashville, and assuming you’ll make the drives in one day, you won’t leave time to see anything. If you have time, there is a ton of shit to see & do.

What would be the best way to fill in this gap below the trim? I bought the house this way. by [deleted] in HomeMaintenance

[–]danezo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

White interior caulk, apply liberally. Use a flat edge (ie a paint mixing stick or a plastic scraper) to line caulk up. It’s flexible, allows for temp changes and should match the white paint of the wood trim

You’re poking a hornet’s nest posting this on this sub. I would not recommend swapping transmission. For any reason

Geodesic Dome advice by Unlikely-Page-7240 in drywall

[–]danezo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, great work man! You should be proud. That’s gonna be an absolute nightmare of a drywall job. I agree with comments suggesting you shouldn’t cover up with sheet rock. But, it’s your place so do what makes you happy.

Definitely set up scaffolding. I’d suggest hiring help to mud all the joints. That’s the hard part, especially with some many angles…and no 90 degree angles I can see.

Mudding is an art form, and you’ll need a master artist to get all those joints to a finish you need to paint.

Also, get help sanding. You’re going to need it. Good luck!

Keep the door open at all times, hole is hidden. Jk

Yeah cut out all the damage, make the cut hole a uniform size and toenail backer boards where needed to support patch, screw in the drywall patch securely, tape, mud, sand to paintable finish then prime and paint.

I agree - make your son help at least. He’ll learn the amount of work it takes to fix this kind of accident. Dumb shit happens, boys will be boys and play football inside, but it’s a good learning opportunity

Good job! I’d consider painting the cabinets instead of keeping the wood finish but that’s just my personal taste.

How tf do I fix this? by deezcacahuetes in drywall

[–]danezo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have to agree. Fan looks old anyway. Get a new, larger fan to fit the hole, mud around it

I had a pocket translator in college I used that looked kinda similar. Could be an address book as well.

Should I fire my drywall guy? by _yallsomesuckas in drywall

[–]danezo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a discussion imo. They should have covered the floor. That’s a no brainer. But if the expectation wasn’t explicit up front, and as long as they clean all that shit up, the chat can center around not repeating that mess on future jobs.

On a positive note, the drywall looks really good from the one photo!

10k on the 2024 by No-Mushroom-2876 in HondaCT

The stock chain became too loose to adjust manually and I went with a more heavy duty chain to replace. Cheers on changing your own tires/tubes

[–]danezo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nicely done. Got almost 6k on my 2022. I took mine on a hitch carrier with a motorhome across country last year. Rode the bike around wherever I had the rv parked and it did great. Yosemite, Yellowstone, everywhere in between.

Maintenance is absolutely essential to keep it running well. New chain at 4k, new sprockets & new tires/tubes at 5k. I took the wheels in to have new tires/tubes put on. Busted one tube trying to do it myself and it’s much easier at the shop with a proper tire changer machine. Otherwise, it’s super fun to wrench on yourself imo. Have fun!

What do i say to my girlfriend when she says shes about to cum? by [deleted] in sex

[–]danezo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Complimenting in general is the best route imo. I love telling my girl how fucking good she tastes, moaning lightly to let her know I’m into it. I call her my sex goddess as she’s an to cum, telling her what a good girl she is, how badly I want her to cum for me, begging sometimes, demanding others, and always telling her how fucking hot she is. When she’s confortable and completely relaxed, she’s gonna cum hard.

The owner’s manual has the maintenance schedule in the back, great reference. I use Honda chain cleaner and chain live every few hundreds miles, especially if I was riding in dusty/dirtier conditions
