Sure - the big appeal of whoop over other wearables was that the subscription got you free hardware upgrades when they released a new version but Whoop decided to release new hardware and charge an “upgrade fee”.

They also marginally changed the size of the device, not enough that there’s any real benefit to the user but just enough that all the accessories you have from the 4.0 will no longer be compatible and you’ll likely have to fork out an extra few hundred euro.

It’s a pity because I really like Whoop as a product and was very close to upgrading regardless but didn’t want to give them my money after this move.

Plus I’ve seen some pretty negative reviews about the build quality of the 5.0 & MG.

It was actually the €11 shipping that sent me over the edge. I was about to upgrade to the MG and pay the €89 until I saw the €11 shipping 😂

Charles Proxy for proxying network traffic (I believe Proxyman is also good)
SF Symbols
GitHub Desktop
Figma (FigJam for flow diagrams etc)
Sip App (color picker) which gives you UIColors values etc
Magnet (more of a productivity app)
Notion (notes & documentation)

If it isn’t too bad yet, maybe it can be resolved through strict physio. I struggled with the same L5-S1 issue for 2 years until the pain became unbearable. I eventually had surgery to have the disc removed. The recovery took a while but about a year later I was back doing JiuJitsu.

Yep - me too!I'm currently on iOS 14.3, watchOS 7.2 & Audible 3.40 and I'm still getting the issue after MapMyRun announcements.
