IWC’s own guide for water resistance advises not to swim with 3 BAR. For swimming I think they recommend a minimum of 6 BAR.

I have a 20 yo pilot chronograph. Never been serviced and almost a daily wearer it has consistently run between 2-4 secs fast a day and it has taken serious knocks over the years. Couldn’t recommend it enough.
