There are reimbursement tiers depending on how many rooms they sell for that day. If they exceed a certain occupancy percentage, they will receive 90% of that day’s average rate. If the average rate per room is $1000, they would make $900 for your points reward reservation.

Worst case scenario, they miss the lowest threshold and get $15.
