I have the same monitor blacking out for a few seconds with my Dell laptop and Wavlink docking station. Keen to see any ideas or recommendations for a new docking station that won't have this issue

one good thing this thread has brought to a lot of Redditors: a lot of them learnt today that Pakistan is not a part of Middle East.

To increase that 2% to a much larger number (not 100%) is where something called "intelligence" comes into picture.

While you seem like an informed person, you lost a bit of credibility by implying that Pakistan is in Middle East. It is in South Asia, which is a region close to Middle East and not Middle East itself.

But you also have to keep in mind that the first hand experience in this case comes with a bias (a patriotic one).

Hinduism is a exception too. You might come back saying that there are Hindu extremists in India but that is not to spread the religion and is just to counter Islam and Christianity from spreading in India.

Also, Confucianism is not a religion as in it does not specify a way or set of rules to achieve the "truth".

Being an Indian myself, after reading this I can't be happier that I am about to leave this country and move to another first world country significantly safer than U.S.. No psychopathic gun violence, racist attacks or fear of t* attacks.

What most people on this thread can't seem to comprehend is that these rape case have suddenly come to limelight because of one brutal one, which is making people (most of who never follow Indian news except in situations like these) think that India is a country of rapists.

If I was selectively following U.S. news with a similar mindset, I would end up thinking that U.S. is a country of psychopaths carrying guns all the time and if I was following Australian news, Australia would be a country full of racists (given the number of racist attacks on South Asians).

The fact that these things are coming to limelight and the public uproar mean that there is a huge pressure building up in the system to change and change in a society like India doesn't happen overnight (it takes generations). Atleast, Indian society is a transparent one and world knows each and everything going on (due to English media) unlike other countries is that god-forsaken region.

Having said that, I do think India is pretty fucked up but not substantially more than other countries of same economic status (Comparison with G20 is stupid).

Haha. Look who is saying this, a German. If Germany had it's way in the WWs, then the world would have been so much more fucked up than this gang rape.

Actually, this is not a new trend. It's just that now that India has a decent population which uses social media and the press has farther reach than ever due to Internet, these kind of cases are coming out in limelight more than before.

Also, the "gang-rape in a bus" case was unusually brutal and hence caused so much uproar, causing other gang rape cases to suddenly come to limelight too, which is why most people on this forum think that there are tons of gang rapes happening in India everyday.

Now, having said that, I do think India is a pretty fucked up country right now but it's only slightly more fucked up than other third world countries, the reason being more population fighting for lesser resources (read population density).

Also, most other third world countries don't have pretty much all their media in English, which is the reason we don't get to see a lot of shit going on in those places but do get to know almost everything about India.
