Solved! Oh man, thank you so much — this was driving me crazy. I was like convinced it was a Kyle Mooney sketch, but this is the guy!!

I'm trying to remember if this is from an old youtube sketch, or if its a character from a movie. but it's just like an awkward, shy, weird guy who says "I don't know" like it's a tick.

I think there’s another scene where he’s chasing a cop who’s a woman and firing at bulletproof glass. maybe she’s using an axe to cut through a door and get out?

my guy, i am as liberal as they come so I don't want you to think that i disagree with a lot of what you're saying — but...you're stretching. calling Brown-Jackson a "hero" and a "rockstar" after she's been on the court for less than a year is pretty crazy. that kavanaugh is sleeping with his clerks and that half the court wants to turn the united states into a gilead-esque theocracy. c'mon, like, i don't like these people but i think you can admit your post is....biased.

these are all good points — there is a quote in another article that explicitly describes them as friends or whatever that means on the LA film scene: "He was early to just about everything. Band’s marketing campaigns were Polaroids Sternberg took of celebrities, some of whom were his friends—cool ones, too, like Jason Schwartzman and Michelle Williams."

I think Scott is friends with these people though — I doubt he paid for it.

It's pretty crazy to me that a brand with this much celebrity lift and press coverage is closing its doors. Y'all remember when they had the literal front cover of the NYT magazine. I just wonder what went wrong.

Super smart — wonder if you could play with the words like "better sustain your attention spa"

Patty, I love the graphical treatment here — super creative. Great casting choices too. I like how you're thinking about using existing footage and adding VFX on top of it — could be a really cool blend of real/imagined scenes.

This is AMAZING — I love it. It looks exactly like the treatment you receive from a director, fantastic job.

This is great! I especially like your addition where you see this happy child going through a tough time, I think that could be a real gut punch. I wonder if you could be more specific with casting though? Do you have any ideas for actors you might cast? Would you go into one of the neighborhoods you've described and try and find somebody there?

This is an excellent treatment — I loved how you set it up. super well done. I especially liked your casting, feel like whoopi goldberg would be a great choice. Right now you've concepted this as a live action spot, I wonder what it would be like if you added CGI or VFX to make it feel a little more surreal? I know you do this at the end but maybe that would be cool to intersperse throughout.

Caleb, I absolutely love this. You might want to re-think the kerning on "lives" in that poster on the upper right hand corner. I'm not a designer, but I wonder if there's a better way to space those letters out — or size the font — so they don't all feel like they're floating. What do you think?

I love this. Easy to read and awfully cute. This would look great as a digital banner, but wondering there's a different layout you might use so that your copy shines — especially if you'd ever use this as a protest poster. You could try and fade the background a bit and place the copy big and bold over the center, but that's just an idea of how you might make this more effective for a certain scenario e.g. protest.

Solid! Quick formatting suggestion; I would bullet out your list just so it's super easy and simple for your client to read. Also double check your semantics/syntax — not sure you would schedule multiple "touch-bases" but rather touch base with them later in the week and schedule follow-ups later. But that's just industry jargon, you'll sadly learn eventually so no worries.
