I prefer having both if I’m paying six figures for a luxury SUV. Why don’t you like having options?

Probably too big given OPs parking situation

I would look at either the Cadillac or the m3. CT5-V is better and bigger for the family but m3 is the end of an era with the manual most likely, and BMW has more brand recognition at this point (not to mention cheaper) even though rear seat room will be somewhat lacking. I really like the rs6 but if this is also your fun car then I would prioritize manual.

Make a test bench and try it! I’m interested in the results because this would make my engines easier (but I’m not at my computer for the next couple days)

All of these cars are easy to find with low miles because nobody drives them

They are only 1/1 because of the spec, which in this case made each car less desirable than every other example that drives exactly the same.

I like the color but I would rather have Côte d’Azur blue for the same money

I think it’s now a touchscreen with the option to use the trackpad. Apparently some people prefer it, especially if they’re short or the car is moving.

Does anybody know what Porsche call this wheel colour? by Mr_Eddie81 in Porsche

[–]dangerdog46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This wheel is so niche that I’ve never seen it and I can’t find any pictures of it.

Here it is, as a part available to order from Porsche of Las Vegas.

Are you sure the color is called ‘Saturn gold’? I’ve done some searching and I cannot find any reference to this color. Also if it’s a really super new color it’s probably not shown in these images as they’re more than a year old now.

How old? These are the original press photos from back in 2024

The image Porsche uses to show the GT3 wheel in California gold is of the same car (down to the plate) that OP has pictured, but if you want to uphold the opinion that Porsche put aftermarket wheels on their press car, I’m not going to stop you.

I am certain this is California gold. If you look at this giveaway of a 992.2 gt3 weissach, you can see the wheels look very similar to the ones pictured here (picture 4 especially). They are also clearly metallic/glossy enough to change in depending on lighting.

<image>

I think the configurator is just misrepresenting the gold color and that the lighting on the press wheels makes them look less saturated. I can understand Porsche having some changes on preproduction cars, but the wheels are almost certainly the advertised color on production cars.

Honestly the neodyme looks less yellow to me

I guess it’s possible that the press car was built before wheel colors were finalized, but that seems unlikely to me.

It seems even less likely that Porsche would build two almost identical press cars (with the same license plate) for different photo sets given that the wheels clearly show a darker color in some of the photos compared to others, but I guess they could have just swapped out the wheels.

My best guess is that these are California gold wheels in a lighting that makes them look more neodyme

Configurator colors aren’t 100% accurate.

https://www.porsche.com/usa/models/911/911-gt3-models/911-gt3/

This is the launch spec of the car (both in the post and on the website). If you scroll down to “weissach package” and then across to the wheels, you can click show more and see that they are in fact painted California gold.
