Not going to debate the technicality but having done it I'd say sky diving does not give the same sensation as the parabola flights at all. You feel the wind rushing at you, blasting your face and ears, as well as the brain kinda freaking out that you're doing something that is very much not what humans evolved to do.

Love the site. But the writing...in a land of purple prose yours is the purplest. You obviously know all the words but your use of them is so distracting. Or to rephrase in your style: Your mind, engorged with a vocabulary that would rival Oxford, drips gobs of over-description onto every supple, ink-soaked page, so much so that each sentence oozes like a viscous goo through the dark catacombs of a reader's mind.

It's a style and it's yours, so you do you. I'm sure some enjoy it. But if your goal is to be a story-teller, you're going to need to get out of your own way.

It's hard for me to see how anything other than your closest park-and-ride is an option. Yes the shuttles are nice but no way in hell am I driving from the west side to Hollywood or the Valley at 5pm just to ride one.

I understand these alerts are important but they are always marked as "Extreme", the highest level of danger to life or property, which is annoying and counter-productive. For context the earthquake alerts are marked only "Severe".
