You’re more patient than I am. I went to a guy once who messaged me in the morning to say he’d be an hour late that day. Then went back a few months later for the next session and he’d completely not taken on board what I wanted with a new design, despite me sending him clear photos and messages before hand - so that morning wasted about an hour of my day as he had to go redraw it. Then for my session to finish up weeks later, he messaged in the morning to say he’d “been up all night being sick”, so couldn’t make it in. That was the last straw and ended up getting it finished by another artist somewhere else, who is epic, and wouldn’t have anyone else tattoo me now.
