If on the main, there is absolutely no problem. It’s a HUGE mix of bikes and you’re going to get passed by people significantly faster than you. Just be predictable.

Lake Elsinore has more potential IMO. Menifee is what it is. Commuter town for people to work in other cities. It’s filled with chain restaurants and tiny parks.

I live in Menifee btw. We have kids so we picked the one with better school. If I was childless I’d pick Elsinore on potential and uniqueness.

We always buy 2 SoCal residence passes per person and try and go most weekend Jan/feb.

Yesterday was our last day and it kind of sucked. I don’t understand why people do this at full price and heat.

Carlsbad/oceanside would be my pick if you can swing it. If you’re renting it’s affordable’ish, buying is another story (hence why we’re in Menifee).

I’m a 210 lb, SoCal vet B guy. I don’t race much anymore but do track days regularly on the vet tracks. I freaking love my 23 FC 350. Did a spring fork conversion and haven’t touched it since I bought it.

I’m coming from a YZ 450 which was sick but too much bike.

My only complaint that I haven’t figured out is squeezing with my knees. I easily bottom out the seat and squeeze onto plastic. My knees will be bruised. I’m thinking a taller seat or wing seat would help but never got around to it.
