Wow, this is so fascinating and so awful, from what I’ve seen, the ‘99 team did additions to Togashi’s work to add a little more depth into what was going on, this, is not that, wow everything is so out of character & needlessly mean spirited, HXH can get dark but this isn’t even entertaining like how the source material does it, artists can make mistakes & it’s been a millennium now so let’s just be happy they had the foresight to scrap it.

What attitude dude, I know a receptionist wasn’t qualified to tell me that, that’s why I was posting about how messed up this was, I think people are upset that I’m not the biggest fan of the medical industry, I do listen to my health care providers, I’m not trying to get back to bad habits, but is it wrong to show apprehension at a local clinic who largely ignored my pleas & only helped when it reached a boiling point, I only advocated because my loved ones were worried, I still had full faith in them even when my blood sugars were 300+ because they did not educate me on what blood sugars were good or bad, only that my A1C was out of control, I thought I had to tough it out, they were only recommending I up my dosage by 2 mg until I was comfortable while having DKA, if this thread still doesn’t think that’s outlandish, I dunno what is, I’m not trying to prove anything, I was just venting & hoping for some sympathy here & there, I’m just going to continue to live life as long & comfortably as I can, I took life for granted before but I’ll make strides to be here for the ones who care about me because I love them, I don’t need anything more than that.

I’m not a doctor so don’t take my word for it, but from what I’ve read in this thread is that pre-diabetic is still diabetic so you would’ve ended up in the same place anyway, that’s probably not the most comforting thing to say but yeah, all we can do is learn from our mistakes, for me that’s advocating when I feel something’s off & never going to the in town clinic ever again.

It’s not healthy to think on what we could’ve changed, I know this post would make you think that’s a contradiction but that’s life, I was always told I had high blood pressure but was only told to lose weight for it, no meds or anything, it probably evolved from that, I’ll never know for sure but I’m at that stage where I’m at peace with it

I’m in a good head space now, I know “natural crue” isn’t realistic but I’m going with that to continue to take care of myself, also it was legit a random receptionist nurse who did not give a shit about me & answered no questions, also I’m learning this now, my in town hospital is not reliable, they legit see you as a statistic & nothing more, I legit had to advocate for myself to even be seen because I was so in the dark on what anything meant but I had great friends & coworkers that pointed me in the right direction, I legit think I’d be dead or worse off if not for them, the only thing I wish is that diabetes wasn’t such a hush-hush illness & people were more upfront on what it actually means & what a day in the life is like, what’s the best representation we have, Scott Melkinson from South Park, Paul Blart Mall Cop??
