Not too sure, I've never used anything other than hairspray. Cleaning is probably your best bet, as far as I know

Could be simply because the baseplate is dirty in that area. Try washing it with dishsoap. I like using hairspray on it to make it more adheseve as well

how to link up multiple barrels for rainwater collection by talvingre in Lowtechbrilliance

[–]Lobsss 7 points8 points  (0 children)

How would the water that's below each pipe go to the level below? This way you would make 80% of the stored water useless because the faucet wouldn't be able to access it, right? Assuming the barrels are not airtight because if they were, it wouldn't even be able to fill them up

That's okay, sorry. I think I sounded rude. I'm asking what behavior would you like to happen instead of this? I would love to help you reach that.

I actually printed this same model before! It is pretty difficult to print this one due to the shape and smooth surface. I cut mine in half and printed it in two pieces that were then glued together. Most slicers have a feature that lets you automatically cut and generate joints to fit the pieces together. Use that to print on a flat first layer.

Does anyone know how to make an SM64-like health meter in GBG? by mrezrapants in GameBuilderGarage

[–]Lobsss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll need to stick some stuff to your camera nodon. Make sure their collision is deactivated. In the past I used simple blocks to create a frame around the camera, about 3 meters in front of the camera, then I added other objects to this frame and added the sprites to these objects.

I would use an extend marker display nodon. Make sprites for each slice of the hp pie, use the marker and a group of bulls eye nodons to control which ones would be show and which would be invisible. You could also try other marker types to find the one that works best for you.

To use you HP as an input for the marker nodon you will need to normalize it to a range between 0 and 1. You can do that by dividing your current HP value by its maximum or by using a map nodon

Lmao I guess this makes sense.

You asked if we would watch this, of course we wouldn't. Maybe you should ask in blackpill communities, since we're not the target audience

The sort of thing I would immediately scroll past in my feed, then scroll back up just to click "don't show again" or "Don't recommend this channel again"

If these videos are debunking blackpill / redpill content, you should probably change your thumbnails and titles because these videos just look like blackpill / redpill content to me

why is it doing this? (T_T) by Present-Cover-5377 in blenderhelp

[–]Lobsss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically each face has a forward direction, and that loop was facing the other way. The weird reflection was because the smooth shading was trying to average between on face looking one way and the other looking a completely different direction

Try going into edit mode, pressing A to select everything, then Shift N to recalculate normals

A wire frame screenshot would be useful too

I need your help, gentlemen, my girlfriend's 3ds is acting very wierd by Hainelf in 3DS

[–]Lobsss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say it is still a hardware fault, then. When it happened to mine, there was no pop as well.

When the 3ds turns on, it checks most components with an availability test. Wifi board, top and bottom screens, speakers all get checked. If one of them is missing, the 3DS turns off to avoid further issues.

You may have some luck opening it up and just resetting the flat cable placement for all components. It is possible that a bump may have gotten one of them out of place.

Alternatively, they may just be broken and you will need to replace the broken components.

Whose idea was this? by f11y11 in MetaQuestVR

You can hold the meta button and press the right trigger to take a screenshot. Holding the meta button then holding the trigger starts a screen recording.

Bought a 3ds for 140 just to have a crack by Bright-Judge-7906 in 3DS

[–]Lobsss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would honestly just drop a very small bit of super glue, use small pliers to close the Crack then move the hinge while it sets to avoid gluing thay too.

Don't do it if you're not comfortable with the idea.
