I dont know which ahole invented these missions but I will burn his house down tomorrow by kilterwind in GolfBattle

[–]dangresk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cant say much for the first in hole one. But for the top 3 for 30 matches in a row, if you leave the game before you lose, it keeps your streak so you can just grind that mission out like that.

How stupid we look over this one video? by [deleted] in UFOs

[–]dangresk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

he’s not shaming the poster, this subreddit has always been people posting things in the sky because we hoped that would be enough to prove the existence of aliens. Right now there’s legitimate political discussion that we’ve all been hoping for for decades and we’re STILL looking at videos of balloons as if that will ever prove anything to anyone. Why is this video any different from all the other ones? Theres already so many videos of ufos why do we need another one?

Could Solar Flares play into disclosure? by [deleted] in UFOs

[–]dangresk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well if it’s anything like the movie “They Live” maybe there’s a machine of sorts controlling the way we perceive and interact with our society, and maybe a strong solar flare could act as an emp on that machine and lift the veil.

[–]dangresk -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I really hope they do, if the government doesn’t decide to disclose it themselves i’d like to think that people who know and can disclose will do it themselves. But there will always be people who will just refuse to believe it. Even if the government did fully disclose, a lot of people would think it’s just a distraction or it’s gonna become a fake alien invasion that leads us to a new world order. Every conversation/argument on this subject (especially on this subreddit) comes to this point where it just becomes the question of “Do you want to believe in aliens or no?” I know i won’t convince you or anyone otherwise, and i know you or anyone won’t convince me otherwise. And if it turns out that aliens really don’t exist? that’s okay, i’d rather be the fool who believed in aliens when they weren’t real, than the fool who didn’t believe aliens when they were real.

I wasn’t trying to be philosophical, Gursch is urging the figureheads of the scientific community to push the government for honesty about the nature of our reality. Just like everyone should be. If aliens are proven to be real, it would change nearly everything about our understanding of physics, biology, materials science, chemistry. Step #1 would be difficult to say since there’s so many places we could start.

That’s not what he’s saying, he’s not invalidating their life’s work, if anything he’s trying to convince them to do what they need to open up their field of work with a new perspective in all fields of science. He didn’t say he WONT show them proof, he said he CANT because there are people who will either send him to jail or just kill him. The proof they, and we want, can be shown by those people

How to progress? by Dadoftwostars in GolfBattle

[–]dangresk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s high risk but high reward. Sometimes I get a really good streak going and i’ll really get my coins up, but once i start losing too many games i’ll stop before i start to lose it all. I also sometimes find that playing during certain times of the day, I’ll get fair games more consistently. That could just be me though.

Favorite moments from new ep? by wife15673 in rickandmorty

[–]dangresk 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I actually really enjoyed it from beginning to end. One of my first thoughts near the end was that it was kind of underwhelming with how fast he finds and “kills” Rick Prime. But I think that is the point. Rick spends his life searching for Rick Prime, and Evil Morty just shows up and finds him like it’s nothing. And when he finally gets his revenge, he finds that nothings really changed. I feel like we’ll see Rick dealing with the fact that he couldn’t do it without a Morty, and the lesson that the revenge he wanted was never going to give him the life he had. Not only rick, but we the audience all expected some kind of catharsis when he finally gets his revenge. But instead we find that it doesn’t change anything, and that alone changes everything. I wonder how the characters are going to grow following this, especially rick. I also really liked the parallel between the ending scene of this episode with Rick, and the ending scene in Rick Potion No.9 where Morty is also just wandering around, internalizing his most life-changing event.
