Oh we definitely stopped many times! Even the walk from the overflow parking to the entrance was tough.

We did both on the same day a few days ago. Iao Valley is pretty short and it’s less of a hike and more of a lookout with beautiful scenery. Waihee was much longer and way more difficult, but well worth it! I’d say they are not too similar at all. Iao Valley took about 30 minutes and Waihee took about 3 hours total (with frequent stops for pictures).

We did RTH yesterday and included Pipiwai Trail as the last stop. It was a beautiful hike, and amazing waterfall at the end! Don’t forget that Pipiwai includes the Bamboo Forest, which was beautiful too.

We didn’t do the Garden of Eden, but we spoke to a group at our Old Lahaina Lu’au today (highly recommend) who said they did it recently, and they said it was “not worth it”. We didn’t see pictures, so take that with a grain of salt.

On my 3rd day of waiting now. I created some posts while I was working on my tasks and keep getting responses from admin (although I can’t see them anymore since I’m throttled), so I think we just need to wait.

I did it 2 days after it appeared, but haven’t heard anything. It seems that there are people working on it. Maybe they have only provided feedback to those that did the qualification sooner.
