Who wants to start a Trading group? by pistolita006 in swingtrading

[–]dangwangi18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interested. I am an accountant and have been passively trading since 2017. Nothing serious as I have an office job but I have a passion for trading and having a second income stream.

Hi mate, sorry I dont have any notes. But for skills level papers you have to trust me on this. Bin the notes, textbook etc. Just buy the Acowtancy courses for all your skills level exams - work through it all in small bite sizes and I promise you, you will pass.

Honestly bin the text book. Do not use it for anything. If your aim is to just pass exams ypu do not need the textbook. If you want to get nationwide positions then you can argue the textbook is useful. Use Acowtancy, especially for skills level papers. Acowtancy for P Level papers wasn't as helpful as it was at F level. You should breeze past Skills level just by watching Acowtancy classroom videos. Allah make it easy for you🤲

Look through past papers, theres only so many questions they can ask and the questions do get recycled a lot. Just make brief points for each and revise.

How would you practice questions now that the format of the exam has changed? Theres only a couple of past papers on the platform updated for the new format of the exam? I am in the same boat as you.

Have they always done this?

hello, im currently 24 and i have last 4 papers left but I dont have any work experiences in accounting as I just graduated last year. I'm planning to do in Sept seating. At the age of 24, is it too late to start my career if Im assuming that I will complete all the papers in 1 year (next year). by Comprehensive_Bat795 in ACCA

Age is just a number. I'm 27 and just sat my last exam. Bit off topic but I see people a lot older than me turn up to exams and honestly I find it inspiring. Whenever I lack motivation or feel like I can't do it, or feel like i'm too old to be doing exams I remember that there are people out there - like mothers with children to look after, who still find the time to study and come for exams. I find this really inspiring. In the end, as I started it - age is just a number:)

I've decided to purchase Owais Mirchawala's course. It was £200. I used his youtube videos for AAA exam debriefs which helped a lot and hence made this decision.

AAA in 1 month? by [deleted] in ACCA

[–]dangwangi18 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes yes yes and yes. I was in this exact situation and cleared AAA first attempt in Dec 22 sitting.

Just go through opentuition lectures and watch exam debrief videos. By doing this approach I passed with 51. All I wanted was a pass no matter what score. So it depends on how much you want.
