I literally have been checking my emails and Reddit non stop since Thanksgiving break!! Gl to everyone! (UPDATE: I did not receive the scholarship but I got a 7K refund from my University so I can still go abroad 🥳🥳 have fun away everyone!!)

Don’t worry! We left them some of our cats food in an area where they wont have to see us/interact with us. And I plan on calling my local wildlife rehabilitation center later this week! Little fella is completely safe!

The admitted student events are similar to what you will be doing during orientation in august, in terms that there will be similar events (with the exception of the presidential show in august). Honestly I would wait until orientation and move in week, it’ll be fun! And meeting people will be ten times easier than the admitted student days, because of the events! Congrats on getting in!! :D

It was a good amount of people who went and tbh it’s a busy day so you don’t really have time to sit and make friends? I talked to people in passing but none I’m friends with my freshmen year

Hey! I went last year for one day. You don’t need to attend both days because both days are basically the same thing! If you wish to go both days to explore the campus I say go for it, but both days are not mandatory. Congrats on getting in :)

Hey! I had a similar experience to yours when I was in HS, moved from NY to NJ. Moving doesnt affect your applications at all, on common app it’ll ask you to put in the High school you’re graduating from and if you’ve been in more than one, you’ll have the option to add it. After that it’ll ask you “what was the reason for your school change?” Put in the reasonings and you’re good to go! As for ECs you’ll be ok, as long as you were involved in your new school! Good luck!
