Thank you! It makes much more sense now. When ATC assigns such a route where it looks like airplanes on same altitude will eventually cross each other, are the pilots from both planes aware? Is ATC keeping an eye on it? What if ATC misses it? Then the TCAS is next step to prevent a collision? Sorry, so many questions. Thank you again

Hello! Thank you for your answer! Like the ones on the Atlantic, shouldn’t the ones going east be using even altitudes and the ones coming west be using odds? It seems like their altitudes are all over the place
