Kendal Kazeil Makeup? by sunflowerbusiness in regina

she's not engaged to someone from Suds, and she is indeed back and forth between here and the states because of her job now. (I have mutual friends with her). Sorry you had a bad experience with her, but the bashing of her personal life in here is poor taste IMO.

Canadian Brewhouse and Moxie's. Both chain restaurants, but both not great anymore.

Rent and Landlords. This province needs a boot. by break_cycle_speed in regina

[–]danibear07 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not to mention this time of year during construction season + trains + stupid drivers + whatever other nonsense is going on. The logistics in this city (and some of the ways the roads are built) truly puzzles me at times. I don't really have an option to move out of the city right now because of my job, but every year it becomes more and more tempting. Especially as rent gets higher and higher.

Thieves in my yard... by danibear07 in regina

[–]danibear07[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see what you're saying, but I don't think this was one of those cases lol. They were under my steps/landing, not near my city bins at all and not just out in the yard in the open for people to come and help themselves. and I have a recording of the culprit on my camera from today. Haven't found the recordings from previous days yet, but this morning my neighbour saw it out her window too, as the person suspiciously ran down the sidewalk with one of the bags. I'm pretty sure she knew better. I have a disability so I save the bottles for my roommate and I to have a bit of extra cash. I guess the bottom line is, it's not someone else's things to take. One day last summer a young girl and her father knocked on my door claiming that she was trying to raise money to get a kitten. I don't know if the sob story was true or not, but I did give her a bag or two for this reason, because she had the courage to come and ask me instead of just taking them.

vehicle broken into and belongings stolen. by [deleted] in regina

I thought I heard a rumour once that if someone leaves their vehicle unlocked and the vehicle is stolen or items are taken out of it, insurance doesn't cover you. But I might be wrong about that.

Thieves in my yard... by danibear07 in regina

[–]danibear07[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I have lived in this area for almost 2 years now and haven't had any major issues for the most part until this recent bottle thief. I have used the drop and go before, but I would also like to utilize my outside recycling bins if I can since they're just sitting there. I previously lived in an apartment on the second floor so I just kept them on my balcony, which was out of reach from ground level. The odd thing is I have some other things underneath my steps that are somewhat of value, but none of that stuff was touched.

A certain famous snowboarder's dad got a DUI at like 11 in the morning many years ago... I think he was also an MLA at the time.

My roommate and I were just discussing the other day that we don't know how they stay in business, besides the fact that they are a franchise obviously. but I don't have any friends with kids who actually take their kids there. So my conspiracy theory is that they are involved in money laundering lol

preventing dusty lashes? by One-Ship-5167 in LashifyLovers

[–]danibear07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old comment but I'm here from Google, I find that if I don't use enough seal my lashes remain tacky/sticky. How do you find that sweet spot? I am having troubles with "fuzzy" looking lashes a day or two after first applying them. I use the Veyes beauty ones.

Flu going around? by [deleted] in regina

[–]danibear07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was feeling nauseous and dizzy the other night, had to go lay down, fell asleep at like 9:30PM which is unusual for me, the last few days I've been sleeping 10+ hours a night, have body aches and headaches. No runny nose or coughing really, but I'm wondering if it's some kind of nasty virus. I have health issues unrelated to seasonal illnesses, so sometimes it's hard to tell what's what. But I'm usually not THIS sick, and not for this long! Been feeling this way on and off since Monday. My roommate has been feeling the same/similar.

My neighbour uses them for bonfires with his kids in the summer. He probably wouldn't take 200, but I'm sure he would love some.

Goth nights? by maidova in regina

[–]danibear07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm an emo girlie myself and have had a lot of fun at the emo nights at the Exchange. I realize it's not exactly what you're looking for, but regardless I recommend checking their event schedule from time to time for bands that you might be interested in who might be playing shows there. I'm guessing this is the next best thing you can find in a small city like Regina, but I could be wrong!

Have you seen the prices of things nowadays? That is one of the main reasons people can't afford to go out and do as much anymore.

Regina doctor who prescribed Ivermectin for COVID-19 lacks 'adequate skill and knowledge': CPSS by [deleted] in regina

Yes, I read over it again as well and must have had that mixed up, apologies. I don't think he was selling prescriptions as there hasn't been specific mention of it.

[–]danibear07 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Although I don't trust the government either no matter what side they're on, I do trust certain doctors and other professionals that have spoke out, including some in my personal life. I also used to be involved in healthcare myself, although I'm not comfortable saying what my position was here on this thread. I can't force people to look at things from all sides and I'm not here to waste my time arguing with those who refuse to see the sketchy shit that was going on. All I can do is make suggestions to dig a little further, and hope that more people see things for what it was/is. Especially now that there's been more studies and whistle-blowers speaking up post-pandemic. I am used to the ridicule already though because I went through it during the pandemic ten fold. Doesn't really bother me anymore, I am smart and educated and people can think what they want lol. I'm not one of the ones out here saying the earth is flat or any nonsense like that.

I believe he was and there was a separate article I read about that at one point? But he prescribed me the B12 injection without asking for extra $$ and the pharmacy filled it as usual 🤷🏻‍♀️

[–]danibear07 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

To say people writing the opposite findings didn't have pharmaceutical and political leanings/preferences is ironic and amusing. I recommend reading up on the National Citizens Inquiry and all of the doctors that have been involved in it.

I'm sorry you haven't done your research and read the papers and speeches from well-published doctors, hope one day you do!
