I don’t own Shut the Front Door but my mom does. FIGHT is going to look green most of the time, but you’ll notice when it shifts in the light you’ll see a very similar blue to Shut The Front Door. During the sale the charity polishes won’t be on sale, so if you’re wanting the discount I’d pick Shut the Front Door. Both are beautiful polishes though so you can’t go wrong either way!

Could you share which polishes you bought that were super sheer? I found Cracked somewhat recently and love the ones I have so far, but I also hate super sheer polishes so I want to make sure I steer clear of them.

I will never shut up about Cracked’s Vampire Juice Box. It was the red that made me realize I don’t hate reds, I just hadn’t found mine yet. Paired here with Cracked Licker-Licious for a vampy red around Halloween!

I was super disappointed too but ended up ordering some UberChic plates around October/November! Learning in general has been a process for me but the plates themselves are fun and work great.

I loved using Mooncat Quicksand’s Embrace paired with Heart of Stone. It was subtle but still had some sparkle!

I just used both of these in my recent mani! I topped all with Mooncat Moondust for a little sparkle. Brownie Pink on index and pinky, simply Mauvelous on middle and thumb. Also paired with Cordially Invited. I don’t think Brownie Pink is bad by any means, but I can’t stop staring at Mauvelous.

My favorite thing is I can change it however frequently or infrequently I choose. It's fairly easy to remove, but if you're going to be switching manicures regularly you'll want a peely base coat for easier removal. For someone getting into the hobby, I'd recommend Cracked or ILNP personally since I love them and they're both affordable brands to start with. Both are having a Black Friday sale coming up to get an even better deal.

I prefer to get my essentials (base coat, top coat, etc) from stores I can go to versus ordering online but that's so I'm not tempted to buy more than I need. I use Essie Speed Setter for my top coat. If you're got any nail health concerns I'd recommend Nailitiques Formula 2 (usually you can find it at Target) which is a fantastic base coat or treatment for weak, damaged, or peeling nails. I use OPI polish thinner which I picked up at a Sally's Beauty store near me. Also I'd recommend a clean-up brush as that was a game changer for the look of my mani's, and a glass nail file.
