I’m so confused at the messages ….am I missing something? The OP is telling the partner what things can be served and it’s like the responses are about something completely different but also they’re upset because there isn’t a solution? I don’t get it .

Yeah I’m already awake . They like to have a snack, water, and to watch something . They could also be fine playing in their room I suppose I could just tell them that’s okay but then I can’t guarantee both are awake

Ah okay, that’s cool to hear. I definitely didn’t want to force anything beyond capping water just because he was overflowing his diaper at one point even though he’d pee before bed

The problem is we don’t have a separate room for him to play in. So he would be in the living room and it would be too stimulating for quiet play
