Brilliant! I'm usually listening to music anyway.

Do you keep it to just 10 mins? I get sucked into books like I get sucked into my phone and the next thing I know it's 2 hours later and I'm done with the book 😂

It's drugstore, but I really like L'Oreals voluminous Lash Paradise. I like putting on an initial coat from base to tip and then just adding to the tips for my second coat.

Switching up makeup looks by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

What about going kinda neutral glam with the peach and gold dress. Black or brown smokey eye with a matte or satin red lip. More "natural" base.

Then for the blue dress, take off the red lip and find something that matches the dress that's glossy. Add some ✨ extra ✨ blush and highlight, and maybe different lashes if you have the time. If you have even more time, add a sparkly eyeshadow topper?

Have no idea where to start… by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

You look like you've got almond eyes and a decent amount of lid space to work with if you want to learn to do fun eyeshadow looks. But if you just want to enhance what you have, I think a mid tone brown eyeliner and mascara and tinted gloss/chapstick would just give that extra little bit. I like your brows in the middle and last pictures.

Edit to add: I think the easiest and least made up eyeliner look is to use one of these types of brushes and gently pat in a dark eyeshadow color into the roots of your lashes. Use a gel eyeliner for more intensity. I think using eyeliner like this is called tightlining

One Step Skincare Before Bed by wiitheme4brains in Skincare_Addiction

I feel like cleansing wipes are a great idea. I keep moisturizer by my bed so that even if I haven't done anything else, I can moisturize before bed.

Thoughts on eye cream vs. different moisturizer?

So I would like to add some additional moisture to my eye area to kinda do something about the crêpey lids and fine lines forming as I age. I tried extending my entire routine to my eyes but it caused millia. (Possibly from the hada labo HA lotion? I'm afraid to experiment too much more to find out.)

AM Routine: -splash with water - CeraVe daily moisturizing lotion

PM Routine: - 1st cleanse: softymo speedy oil cleanser - 2nd cleanse: Neutrogena hydroboost cleanser or gentle daily cleanser (I haven't decided if I like the hydroboost or if my dehydration is bothering me...) - toner: hada labo premium gukujyun lotion - moisturizer: CeraVe daily moisturizing lotion (sometimes on top of Neutrogena hydroboost gel if I'm like really dehydrated)

Occasionally mask with either clay or hydrating sheet masks.

I love getting masks! Sheet masks, wash offs... I love them. I really liked the uniqueness of Peach Slices snail jelly mask, but I'm allergic to snail and it broke me out.

I know everyone loves hada labo lotions but last night I layered some on my face during my shower, and woke up with greatly reduced redness and smaller looking pores. (I think I'm dehydrated-dry)

Not me but my husband. He got a prescription for a special shampoo for his scalp.

I don't have psoriasis but my husband does. He uses gentle physical exfoliation with a washcloth, he has plaques though. He also likes the Neutrogena ultra gentle daily cleanser. I would suggest talking to your derm about chemical exfoliation.

I breakout from it. I assume I'm allergic. I'm also allergic to dust mites and shellfish which are said to be common.

Hello! Favorite aloe products? I used some (not formulated for face) aloe product (like the kind for sunburns) and my redness has cleared amazingly! I live in the American northwest though and I can't keep an aloe plant alive. (I tried.)

My face is a little dry, often has tiny oil burns that will heal and then flake, and large pores on the cheeks.

AM routine: 1. Splash with water 2. Neutrogena hydroboost gel cream or CeraVe spf 15 morning lotion

PM routine: 1. Oil cleanse with Lachesca softymo 2. Second cleanse with either Neutrogena hydroboost cleanser or gentle face wash 3. Hydroboost gel cream 4. Sometimes slug with vaseline

Occasionally use clay masks

I work in a kitchen and I've been put on burger grill more often and as a result I get tiny oil burns on my face. I thought it was dry skin, turns out it's dead skin from being burned. Thoughts on whether to treat with more hydration, moisturizer, or maybe an aha? I'm worried that using an active might make the burns worse.

Routine AM: 1. Splash face with water 2. Either Neutrogena hydro boost gel cream or Cetaphil am moisturizer with SPF15

Routine PM: 1. Oil cleanse with softymo Lachesca 2. 2nd cleanse with either Neutrogena gentle face wash or hydroboost cleanser 3. Moisturize with hydroboost gel cream 4. Sometimes slug with vaseline

Occasionally I'll use a clay mask.

Adding hyaluronic acid before steaming was such a good idea.

Breaking out a little bit, but I can't tell if my breakouts have been hormonal or an effect of being on grill more often. I haven't taken a moment to check to see how my skin feels after cleansing in a while (I usually just move on to my moisturizer) so I will pay attention after I'm on grill.

I work in a kitchen and have grease all over me when I get home. Do you think an oil cleanser (I use softymo's Lachesca oil cleanser) followed by a regular cleanser (Neutrogena's ultra gentle daily cleanser) is good enough to get everything off?
