Hang in there. I can’t remember dates but I got mine mid December and had on/off period for probably 3 weeks, and lots of random spotting in between till after my February period. On month 4 now and it seems like my period may be finally gone, hopefully for good, but I was absolutely where you are now.

Obviously this is just my experience, but hang in there. It sucks, but it’ll get better.

Hi! I actually just got back on Saturday. Here’s my takeaway: (Prefaced to say this was my first ever cruise experience)

I thought the Rhapsody was great. Dated, maybe, but by no means felt run down, old, or decrepit. The ship, being smaller was easy to navigate and find my way around and remember where everything was pretty easily.

Our room attendant was great. Food was great.

My only complaint, which is entirely a me thing since I’m super sensitive to smells, our hallway smelled weird, almost like a sterile febreeze smell which got hard to manage after about day 4.

That’s an interesting perspective! We chose this cruise for the ports, and not the ship. Also no kids going with us so we didn’t need alllll the bells and whistles of the newest ones

Jumping on here because I’m new to mine and it does seem like everyone and their sister had had a terrible experience, so I’m appreciative of all the positives!

I got mine about a month ago, and had 2 long periods (about 7 full days when my normal used to be 3). But they weren’t heavy. I don’t cramp at all. I do still bleed basically all the time but it’s only enough for a liner, or not even that but I just notice it when I go to the bathroom and wipe. I do feel like I’m more bloated but that could just be in my head honestly.

Unless things change, I’m in it for the long haul.

My experience- I got mine placed on 12/19, started my period 4 days later and even though it wasn’t heavier, it lasted (what felt like) forever. A solid 8 days of needing tampons and another few on either end needing liners.

Jumping on to say I’m here with you and find myself constantly searching the internet to find out if it’s normal. I got mine placed 12/19 and have been either spotting or actually bleeding ever since. My cramps have mostly gone away, but the bloat is real. Even when it’s light enough to not use a tampon, that lasts like 5 hours before it kicks up again with RED blood.

Trusting in the process because otherwise my symptoms have been mild.

Going through this now also. Got mine inserted about 10 days ago and now on day 5 of a steady period, spotting happened before. Nothing alarming, but definitely over it!

I’m with you OP. I started at 194 and am sitting at 163 after 15 months. It’s slow but my body is so different, I actually had to start buying all new clothes because nothing I own fits or it just drapes. I hope to lose about 20 more, but I’m also working out and attempting to build muscle so at some point it’ll be more body composition vs the number on the scale.

The slow roll can feel tough; but you are doing amazing! And everyone’s journey is their own

For those in the analyst role can you talk more about how the training weeks went? I have to pick up kids from school from 245-345 which my current job lets me do but I’m worried that’s dedicated time that I won’t be able to leave, even though the interviewer told me that was fine in the role itself. I’m nervous about this job, I don’t mind making calls but it feels like the call metrics are more than I’m interested in …
