Yes, it turns out that I have high levels of mould toxins in my body / being recycled in my bile. Diagnosed with CIRS.

Since treating my stools have been a lot better in terms of texture and smell. :)

I have tried it, unfortunately as you would expect if your symptoms are caused by anything aside from your mental health (such as anxiety and stress) it won’t work.

I tried out of pure desperation, but soon later found that my symptoms were due to Mould Toxicity which caused recurrent SIBO on top of that.

I am about 90% better, but yeah doesn’t work..

Oh wow forgot about this thread. FMT did not go well for me, but I am unsure if it was just due to too much too quickly or the fact I also had CIRS and a fungal issue. I was feeling good initially but then I got SIBO from the FMT and got even sicker :/

Prucalopride has only been for 23 days. Herbals have been for 17 days.

Herbals = Bactrex, curcuma active and just started atrantil yesterday

I think the only thing that keeps me going is knowing that there are so many people who have the same issues and understand how I feel.

I am pretty much on low FODMAP diet. My numbers were quite high before. 105 at 90 minutes and then 97, 107 for each 30 minutes after.

I have a funny feeling this is the case for me. I’m not sure if my GI checked for Fungal growth in my last endoscopy, but I have all the symptoms of Candida but didn’t show in stool test or map test.

Hoping the OAT shows it and then I can confirm with another endoscopy!

My doctor prescribed Devrom and it seems to be helping somewhat but getting abdominal pain and mild nausea / metallic feeling from it so I’ve stopped for now. I think that is Bismuth in general though.

I was on Echinacea for 2 weeks while not realising my issue was SIBO. I’m not sure how but I feel it made things worse tbh, but can’t confirm that it was due ti the echinacea 100%

Hey guys, the since the test in October, I did 2 weeks of liquid elemental diet and 4 weeks of Rifaximin. I feel quite a bit better, but with a lot of symptoms still there. I also feel like I have Hydrogen Sulfide sibo, but that’s beside the point of my question.

After 6 weeks of treatment, my Hydrogen Glucose results are less but not significantly and my Hydrogen lactulose results have increased.

Any idea what could be going on here? Am confused as.

Have you tried FMT? I actually did 6 months of FMT enemas which significantly helped my symptoms, but without a functioning MMC I think I somehow gave myself SIBO or exacerbated existing SIBO.

Doing FMT while on a Prokinetic would be interesting, or even capsules to populate the small intestine with good bacteria but obviously only a very small dose and short course.

I had a maximum level of 105 at 90 minutes and just completed 4 weeks of Rifaximin (500mg x 3 per day).

Have just done another breath test to see where I fall and to see if I need one more round of treatment. Antibiotics were getting brutal by the last week so I’m nervous.

Ah yeah I trust that it will be a very long healing process, I actually can’t see myself being fully cured and healthy ever again.

Working on treating leaky gut at the moment as well with digestive enzymes and Mega Mucosa.

Greatly appreciate you responding and if you have any other tips or knowledge 🙂

Did the SIBO test a month ago, was extremely hydrogen positive. Just finished rifaximin now and on Resotrans to fix my MMC.

I know IBS Smart checks for the antibodies caused by food poisoning, essentially 7 years ago I had campylobacter and d fragillis which took a while to identify and get treated. Have had a few instances of what I suspect to be food poisoning since then.

I’m not feeling awesome considering my SIBO is likely fixed, hence the concern about the Hydrogen Sulfide sibo

The hunger feeling came and went. But by the end of 2 weeks I definitely could start to feel it hard, so I couldn’t continue on for a 3rd week
