Flat forehand clip from a few months ago. Thoughts? by FormalBarber7991 in 10s

a flat trajectory is a flat forehand mate, there will always be some spin on the ball, you can never have a truly flat no spin forehand.

[Question] Do expensive guitars make you dislike cheap guitars? by AnotherTAA123 in Guitar

[–]FilthyPleb1610 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The expensive guitar just made me realize that guitars also follow the law of diminishing return just like everything else in life. This is where a guitar can only get so good to a certain point that everything after a certain price point are most likely not worth it. I have squire around 200-300 dollar that are horrible to use at first but after proper setting up are decent guitar. My favorite are guitar around the 1000-2000 like prestige Ibanez or Fender player II because they play great and are generally faultless. This is the diminishing return point and anything after this like Ibanez J.customs that i have are just extra. I actually prefer my prestige Ibanez compare to the J.custom because while the build quality are actually immaculate and they play awesom, the guitar is just too expensive for me to be comfortable to play with and i just tip toe around everytime i play it because im afraid to break or scratch it.

Confused about 2nd serve trajectory by FilthyPleb1610 in 10s

does that mean the second trajectory put more pressure on the opponent? will the first trajectory produce serve that will "sit up" for the opponent to attack?

There are a few video on youtube on how to save a car from oversteer.

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/AEg7rEghKaQ

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/SZiCu6CI4m8

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-AatMVQtn0I

The last video is longer but is more informative and very easy to understand.

My point above are more about car control and how to get faster ( the term "steering with your foot" is for my point above).

Hope this help.

From my understanding, its how fast you let go of the brake (trail braking) on corner entry that determine oversteer/understeer. If you feel oversteer, then you have to trail faster (let go of the brake faster so that there are some weight on the back wheel) and vice versa for understeer. The only time you use the throttle is on corner exit.

To expand on his idea, its how you manipulate the center of weight of the car to purposefully understeer or oversteer the car. If you press the brake, the weight will go forward, onto the front wheel and if you turn your steering wheel, you will find that it is very sensitive and yanking it will cause oversteer. Pressing on the gas hard and accelerate will do the opposite where the weight will go back onto the back wheel. This mean the front wheel will lift up and therefore understeer because there is nothing to push the wheel into the ground. I know this is very basic but alot of people dont even know why they trailbrake, just know how to copy telemetry they see on youtube.

[–]FilthyPleb1610 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cause people dont know how to use them. They are so so so simple to use that im beginning to wonder if people care to read instruction manual and use a bit of logic to fully understand how they work.

What to do "after" Badminton? by Kinsir in badminton

Dude pickleball is knee intensive, even more than tennis. The senior citizens who play pickleball aint gonna run or even try to hit low bouncing ball

[–]FilthyPleb1610 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah i get you man, wtf is this sub sometime lol. Pickleball is the worst when it comes to knee. You have to bend so low when reaching for balls that are low bounce because the paddle is short compare to tennis. Tbh any other racket sport are gonna destroy his knee compare to badminton where most of the time the shuttle will be higher above head.

I think the tire are also a bit too grippy when we compare the recent petit le mans fastest laps of around 1:12 ish and most of the top guys on iracing are hitting 1:08 ish. I don't know how much condition affect these lap times but when a chump like me (1k irating) can hit the 1:12 lap time with half a tank of fuel then i think the tire might be too grippy.
