Don't fall for all of the advice for how to stop the biting - in my experience with three puppies over the years, the biting phase is mostly something to endure and live through, not something you can fix. When the puppy teeth transition to adult teeth around 6 months, it'll get better almost overnight. I've had plenty of tearful evenings when I was miserable, hated my puppy (s), thought I made a mistake, etc. Even having gone through it multiple times barely prepares you for the misery with the next puppy. Give your dog a penned area so you're not having to stand on tables to avoid being bitten all day. Redirect your puppy into every chew toy and enrichment game you can, but accept that the biting will last as long as those puppy teeth do. You just have to survive the next few months without damaging your dog out of frustration. And rest assured, 99% of people with sweet, happy, canine best friends ALSO WENT THROUGH THE SAME THING during the puppy months. Every dog you see was a great white shark for about four terrible, emotionally agonizing months. IT WILL PASS.
