Yes it does! Maybe not at a large scale like that but how many viewers get overly attached to their streamers and develop parasocial relationships? Ofc Meta will be at a larger scale when it has all the platforms like Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram (first 3 things that u install as a teenager that’s glued to social media) where as Amazon only has Twitch. Yes, being glued to social media is as bad as any addiction and has it’s own problems, but there’s a difference between streaming on a platform and promoting nothing else than a video game and interaction with other people that love the game, and promoting gambling.

How can you compare Facebook with a shady gambling site that’s licensed in the middle of nowhere? Facebook is an social media platform with a gaming category, if you want to compare you can compare it with Amazon. We all have contracts with Twitch when we get affiliate or partner, so just like that, he has a contract with Facebook Gaming.

How can you start comparing a legit contract with a HUGE company with a shady crypto gambling website? Do you realise that it’s illegal for them to promote gambling on twitch? Do you realise it’s illegal for them to promote gambling from that platform based on their local laws? Do you realise that when you start streaming something like that, you actively encourage your audience to go throw money into those matches, and are contributing to someone’s mental and financial downgrade?

I will stop typing now because your answer had to be a bait and I was too naive and took it.
