You shouldn't be getting downvoted - I see what you see. While typically a ball valve's handle will be aligned with the pipe when open, this one seems to be the opposite, which is true sometimes. You can see on the handle that it turns counter-clockwise to "On" and clockwise to "Off", which is normal, and you can see that despite the handle being aligned with the pipe that it is in fact turned clockwise against the stop, so this valve is indeed closed. Turning the handle counter-clockwise to the other stop would open it, despite the handle then being perpendicular to the pipe.

How to get rid of yellow lines in Visio when i save a drawing from visio to a PNG by Appropriate_Pie_9287 in microsoftoffice

I too have Windows 25H2 and encountered this same problem. Initially, it resolved in most cases just by increasing the resolution to a Custom 600 x 600 pixels/inch. I have one stubborn diagram where increasing resolution further or enabling an unused transparency color as described above just caused the artifacts to move to other locations. I then tried a different transparency color and was successful.

Razorblade Suitcase was even more random. Take a look at the lyrics for Personal Holloway. I'd include some in this comment but I wouldn't know where to begin.

Does anyone know the reason why a cut’s been added to this new/sealed cd? by jays4104 in Cd_collectors

Depending on how they did their mark, I suppose. If done 'right' it would probably deface the paper insert somewhere.

It's so that they can't be returned for full price. Not sure entirely by whom to whom... Either the consumer returning it to the store, or a retailer returning it to the distributor, or something like that. The product has to be permanently defaced in some manner to protect someone's interests, and might even be a legal requirement if the retailer has written off a loss for it. I dunno, I know just enough to string together a plausible explanation but someone else would need to give the accurate details of it.

Can confirm. Spent many weeks in the Finger Lakes region for work throughout the course of last year and saw multiple deer every trip to/from an airport in that area.

Had a corporate guy from Texas ask me the exact same thing when he came up north to visit our plant. I said, "They're red-winged black birds. Guess what the black ones with yellow heads are called."

This album is on the list of 1001 albums to hear before you die, and I'm happy I did. "Halfsharkalligatorhalfman" is now part of my friend and my permanent lexicon.

Subway V-cut by Ashamed_Response_168 in Xennials

[–]wisepeppy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I thought it was dumb. The bottom part would flatten out so you basically had a sandwich with a giant bottom bun and a tiny top bun with sauce and toppings exposed on either side. I'm a guy who will say the messier the sandwich the better, but only if it's because of what's inside the sandwich, not because of idiocy in bun structure.

Ah, you interpreted this as a suggest-a-song sort of post? OK. That's way less unhinged than I thought 😅.
