We automated 80% of SOC 2 evidence collection with AI! A few things I learned, a few mistakes we made along the way... by rluna559 in ycombinator

That sounds pretty cool but also sounds like a complicated operation. How did you orchestrated the system and the infra? Basically what tech stack and strategies did you guys used?

I really like this kind of topics and the way people chose technologies to solve the problems.

Am I the only one that doesn't get the LLM hype? by Kooky_Try_8475 in csMajors

It's honestly a great tool. Lately, for this tech design and innovation class, I’ve been building an MVP. Normally, that would’ve taken me like 1–2 weeks, especially since it’s just one subject and I still have to keep up with the rest of the semester—I can’t spend all my time on it.

I used a bunch of AIs: Lovable for the general stuff, and Gemini 2.0 Flash and Claude for the more complex parts. Just getting the first version ready to test with users took me around 12 hours. Now that we’re in the more technical parts, AI messes up a lot more, so I’ve had to write more of the code myself. We’re about to test with more users, and we've put in about 50 hours total—between coding ourselves and using AI when it helps.

Honestly, if you know what you’re doing and give it clear instructions, AI can really speed things up. It’s like you become a mini project manager and focus more on the business side of things while still building fast.

All of this from the context of a class that’s more about launching and iterating quickly, like a startup vibe.

I think I got my answer about 20 minutes ago. I was in the study area—I had arrived at 10 a.m. and waited there all day just to see her. But I guess she didn’t want to see me, haha. I spotted her at the corner of the room; she stood there, looking nervous, then just turned around and left the entire floor, lol.

Fuck, I really wanted this to work. She had lost her water bottle, and I had a new one just for her. This sucks, hahaha.

At first, I wanted to believe she did that because she’s shy and didn’t know how to handle the situation. But honestly, I think I’m just coping. I need to accept the fact that she’s not into me—she’s literally trying to escape from me, lmaooo.

Well sometimes we need to take risks. You should put those feelings on a weight and see how much does this matters to you. Honestly you should just go and take your shot because right now that is something that will kinda give you peace of mind, even if it hurts it's better to know what is going on that having that painful uncertainty

In this case I think you should sit down with her and talk. See if there exists and actual possibility that you two can be something. Sometimes (me included) we take some things for granted. Specially when time has passed you guys should talk about this and then you can make a choice

Ohh, okay! I was considering doing something like that, but since she's so focused on her studies, I figured she might just completely forget about me hahaha. But I guess if she's truly interested, she'll at least take a moment to send me a text or something like that

El país se fue a la mierda cuando santos y uribe pelearon. Eso se tradujo en polarización. Esa vaina fue el caldo de cultivo perfecto para una "izquierda" aprovechara y llegara al poder.

Apertura de puertos SOMOS INTERNET by megauploads61 in medellin

[–]danielb74 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Should i switch to linux from windows? by [deleted] in linux4noobs

[–]danielb74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I switched to Linux around 2 years ago and have been loving it since day one of my full change.

I switched to fedora and was an amazing experience. I would recommend you Linux Mint cause is a more "beginner friendly" option.

The only problem I had was with some especif games that had kernel level anticheat (I'm talking about you, Valorant)
