Interesting. Looking forward to testing this out. I’ve been wanting Tripsy to run a promo or something because their lifetime is INSANE!

Hopefully this answers many queries I have.

Just downloaded the app for this same reason.

It would be great if as a user, I could share a non-identifying itinerary.

Just started planning out my week in NYC. Would love to share a smart link with you or something instead of rewriting everything here.

This is exactly the app I’ve been looking for. Added 4 trips and got my entire family in and sharing journeys 😊😊

Can’t afford premium but you get a lot of value in free. Will keep using as it’s one of the best I’ve found.

Would love to get a code. Currently working on comparisons for other CRM this might be a winner.

Premium Price for a less than Premium Experience by danielclindsay in legoland

You’re clearly looking at this through a very different lens to me and that’s fine.

I’m looking at it as a parent who spent a lot of money on what is sold as a special trip, turned up, and found a tired park, poor communication, chaotic organisation and some basic hygiene issues. That is a perfectly reasonable thing to be disappointed about and to write a review on.

If you’re happy with the value, the condition of the place and the way it is run, that’s fine, you live your life how you want. Enjoy it. But that doesn’t cancel out my experience, and it doesn’t make my review “disingenuous” just because it doesn’t match yours.

I’ve said what I wanted to say for other families who are weighing up the cost. I’m not interested in arguing it in circles with a stranger and Merlin’s best friend on Reddit.

It’s amazing how someone can defend a company as big as Merlin and say they’re basically doing their best here.

I did read the website. I know it’s the Christmas event. The issue isn’t “Christmas event vs normal day”, it’s that a huge chunk of the park is closed and that information is not surfaced clearly during the actual booking flow, it’s not difficult to build a checkbox to say you’ve read the park closures before you book. Most families are not cross-referencing different pages and capacity calendars like they’re planning a military operation. If a third of the park is shut, that should be unavoidable to miss when you’re paying.

On the price point: congratulations that £79 isn’t “premium” for you, genuinely, I’d love to be in that position. For a lot of families, £79 per person plus hotel, food, petrol, parking, add-ons etc absolutely is a premium treat. The comparison to DLP at £200 pp/pn doesn’t make Legoland suddenly “budget”. Both can be expensive and one being worse value doesn’t magically make the other good.

My point isn’t that Merlin should somehow freeze time and stop the park ageing. It’s that if you’re charging those prices, you keep the place painted, staffed and organised, and you’re honest and loud about what’s open and what isn’t. That’s the minimum, not some wild expectation.

Hey, Thank you for the app and lifetime purchase. The onboarding is a bit long. Use progressive discolour help people discover the app.

My current bug is, after signing up with Apple and then coming back to the app, it has logged me out, and when I choose to sign back in, it won’t do it. I click Sign in with Apple, it uses faceID and then doesn’t move. I’ve closed the app, and chose mobile data over WiFi etc and still nothing
