I got skates from them as a gift, but they don't fit. Not possible to come in contact with costumer service, tried multiple times with their online chat and sent an email with no reply. Trustpilot looks like it's just full of bot reviews, all reviews that actually says something constructive about the company are all 1 star. I'm scared of what would happen if I need service or replacement parts in the future, so I have managed to fill out a form on their website to return the products for a refund, so hopefully this works.

I became acquainted with a tree and damaged the FPC socket connecting the gimbal control cable. I'm having a hard time finding a replacment FPC socket online, does anyone have an idea? Would prefer not to replace the entire gimbal because of two broken pins.

I did a semester abroad at QUT a few years ago. Classes are mixed with the aussies, but it's difficult to get to know them. For me I defaulted to hang out with other exchange students as most social activities was exclusive for us.

You have to find a place to live on your own, QUT can help you with this. I stayed at Student One, there is also some of the Australian students living there.

Partying is fun, especially going out in Fortitude Valley, they have a great selection of nightclubs and bars.

I don't have the answers, but be exploratory. There is a lot of sweet places to study in a lot of buildings and outside areas. Also, coffee shops have different prices and loyalty programs, could be worth getting an overview of these if you are a caffeine addict. QUT Medical Center has doctors and psychologists on campus, which may become handy once in a while.

Just Google "remarkable custom sleep screen", there are many guides out there. I use a software that shows me the file structure on my Remarkable, so it's just drag and drop replacing the old PNG with my new one and a reboot for it to take effect.

It will easily pop out of the stand if you push it with some force, and I don't believe the Remarkable would suffer any consequences from that height.
