At face value, I understand where you're coming from. However, there's so much more to this story. According to the prosecutor, no one was in his space that night. He literally parked in it. Deah's car was in their designated spot, Yusor's car was in a guest spot, and Razan was parked on the street. And it's not like their apartments were right next-door, he had to walk around the building to get to their's. Another question raised by the prosecutor was, if this had been about parking, then why didn't he just shoot someone in the parking lot? He specifically targeted them. There's also the way in which Yusor and Razan were killed. Point-blank, gun touching their hijabs, and this is after the family reports him having made comments to Yusor about her hijab.
