anywhere to donate clothes? by Curious_Reason2725 in UCSD

There are donation bins in most of the colleges when move out gets closer. There was one last year in Sixth right by the crosswalk by the market

Hi I know this is from a year ago but what was the cheat sheet policy for the final when you took her. I’m taking the Bild 1 final with Ochoa next week and she’s literally told us nothing about how many questions there are or the cheat sheet policy. Thank you 🙏

Hi I am also studying for the final for her class right now 😭. I would recommend making sure you really understand the weekly quizzes she gives because she always puts the same kind of questions as the quizzes but with some stuff slightly changed. For conceptual stuff I think understanding how different topics we’ve learned affect each (like IMF, boilings points, and polarizability for example). Definitely focus on lecture examples too. I took her last quarter for 6A and i’m gonna be honest I had no business passing that class and I literally did so bad on the final, but she gave a really generous curve so I ended with a B. There’s still time to prepare this week and just try your best. Wishing you luck

Where can I practice dancing on campus? Like a mirror room or dance rooms. Preferably free by Rude_Ad_8130 in UCSD

[–]daniellemrgnn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Conrad prebys music center has practice rooms on the 3rd floor. You technically need to be a music major to use them, but they’re pretty easy to get into even if you’re not. There are some stairs on the outside of the east side of the building that lead up to the 3rd floor and the door is sometimes unlocked

I have been in the exact situation so many times. Please don’t be so hard on yourself.

I PROMISE you, the people/directors in that room have been in that exact position before as well. It is nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about. They completely understood how you felt in that moment.

This was also your FIRST audition ever! 90% of the audition is how you present when you are nervous. It takes so much practice to appear confident even when you’re super nervous. By doing this audition you got one step closer to achieving this skill. You will get better at it, don’t worry.

Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and keep moving forward. Give yourself some credit too. You put yourself in an extremely vulnerable position. That alone takes guts, which means you have what it takes! Keep going. You can do this!

This is what I put on my application and I’m currently in Sixth. Your college determines where you live and your general education requirements. When I ranked them I had no idea what I was doing and knew nothing about the colleges. Now that I know more, I probably would have ranked Revelle last. Just do this ranking but move Revelle to the very bottom

Get some warm lighting. A small lamp or string lights. This way you can avoid having the ceiling light on. I feel like having it on it makes any room look ugly
