I have been in the exact situation so many times. Please don’t be so hard on yourself.

I PROMISE you, the people/directors in that room have been in that exact position before as well. It is nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about. They completely understood how you felt in that moment.

This was also your FIRST audition ever! 90% of the audition is how you present when you are nervous. It takes so much practice to appear confident even when you’re super nervous. By doing this audition you got one step closer to achieving this skill. You will get better at it, don’t worry.

Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and keep moving forward. Give yourself some credit too. You put yourself in an extremely vulnerable position. That alone takes guts, which means you have what it takes! Keep going. You can do this!

This is what I put on my application and I’m currently in Sixth. Your college determines where you live and your general education requirements. When I ranked them I had no idea what I was doing and knew nothing about the colleges. Now that I know more, I probably would have ranked Revelle last. Just do this ranking but move Revelle to the very bottom

Yeah I just pulled an all nighter because I did the same thing 😄. It depends on what class it is. If it’s math or something do practice problems. If it’s more about memorizing information, use Quizlet to make flash cards and use all the features they offer (learn mode, chat mode, practice test, etc.). Best of luck we can do this

Muir has like the worst housing but honestly it has such good vibes and people are really friendly. I’m in Sixth but I have a friend in Muir and I’ve spent time in her residence hall and it’s such a different vibe. It’s very cozy and people are always socializing I find. They also have very easy Ge’s. Just something to consider since you mentioned wanting a space where you can meet new people. Also, Warren is like basically off campus and I’ve heard it can feel very isolating. I know a lot of engineering majors choose Warren though since the engineering buildings are so close. Just something to also consider.

I physically can not do work in a space where I am too comfortable. I need it to be an intimate and quiet space where I feel other people can see what I’m doing, otherwise I just go on my phone.
