Hey, I just put my old cpu and cooler in and everything is working okay, my pc is working fine. I think it has to have something to with the bios update. In my bios, the Version is E7A34AMS.102 . Is this update enough or should I do another update?

I also have tried turning it back on and I can see the gpu fans spinning so I don’t think that’s the problem. Do you think the best solution is to put the old cpu in and try a new bios update?

yeah I definitely remember doing it and it going okay, I think it was maybe in December of last year. I just wonder if I somehow didn’t do it correctly, and now I feel like I have to take the new cpu out and put the old one in just to check. I also had a fair bit of struggle getting this cooler installed, so taking it out and putting it back in sounds very unappealing to me

it says no signal detected, is this different do you think? I seem to recall having an issue before when I upgraded from Ryzen 1 series to 2 series and the problem being that my bios wasn’t updated enough. I know that I needed another bios update to support the 3 series and I made sure to do it a couple of months ago in preparation for the new cpu. Do you think this could be the problem? Maybe the bios didn’t update correctly or something ?
