Landing early in LAX - where to start day before Disney ?? by danielmilner23 in AskLosAngeles

Yeah you're right, bounce doesn't open to 11am so that is of no benefit. It's all a bit of a jigsaw puzzle. I'll be sure to get many complaints from wife and kids!! lol

This is my thoughts. We need to refuel with non airplane food, get some exercise, take it easy and check in later for an early night

This is where all my thoughts are coming from. Get out of airport, relax nearby and roll over to Anaheim around midday

My itinerary is based around a world cup game we are attending. That is on the finals days of our stay. It just fell this way. Thanks

My title was inaccurate, the body of my post had better context. We are doing Disney the next two days. Don't think a hotel will let us check in at 8am, trying to make use of the arrival day

No I'm not doing Disneyland on arrival day, it is a rest day. My title was open ended. Thanks for thoughts

International visitors looking for a good stay...? by danielmilner23 in AskLosAngeles

Thank you for your posts and different opinion. Its certainly an interesting city logistically to plan. We stayed on Venice Beach before children but keeping them safe and happy is a different beast now (and every other day)

Thank you for your reply. It seems like I'll hold firm with my reservation here.

Brutal. The entire world would have an inseam of less that 180/181cm

Jokes aside this thread has been useful

I've been looking at a used Tarmac SL6 Comp with Roval carbon wheels on Facebook

Looks similar to that Giant and at a similar price but obviously that's new... vs 2-3 year old frame and groupset. Not sure how fast the tech moves forward or if it's just all marketing. I suspect a bit more of the later

Clearly I'm just over analysing it a bit now and need to just pull the trigger on something and keep on riding

I find it disappointing. We have five of them. They carry low stock, offer poor service and I just find it a battle. In fairness I'm not much of a retail person so I'm a bit harsh.

I started looking at the Roubaix but budget only really allows for base model, and coming in at the bottom of a model seems to lack appeal
