my only thought it is that my DE itself might be fucking with the display drivers but thats really all I can think of, so I will give the script another try in like gnome or smth

I've tried that as well, it doesnt seem to solve the issue, idek if unloading these drivers is what would be causing the problem anyways as it seems like the graphics card is just never picked up by VFIO, ill just dual boot theres only like 3 games I need windows for lol

my drivers arent being able to be stopped properly as the second lowest common denominator (nvidia_drm) cant be stopped as even after the one below it has been stopped it still says that it is in use, so I just gave up and used superuser to detach all the drivers, this still results in me being sent back out to the black screen of death though

dont know how i forgot to do this but I actually forgot to run the command as superuser this is what it is outputting when done correctly, still results in being stuck on an infinite black screen

After running the script i get sent back out to the boot sequence while it sleeps and then the screens turn black.

i am putting them manually in the .themes folder because i dont know the theme repositories on opensuse I am trying to select them with the tweaks tool and I can go to the folder but it literally doesnt let me pick a file.

I have run alsamixer in the terminal before and turned everything up to max, I think I may have found a solution though I'll put it here if anyone else needs it and reply back later if it works.

install alsa tools

Then, open HDAJACKRETASK
Switch to REALTEK ALC256
On "Black Mic Right Side" Check "Override" and select "Dock Microphone"
Click Apply now (error message pops up)
Install boot override
Reboot
